Maya Women's Medicine Collective
Maya women in southern Belize with deep knowledge of traditional medicine and medicinal plants, as well as those interested in learning, have organized into a women's group to share traditional herbal knowledge with one another.  The group is currently planning a Women's Medicinal Plant Garden, which they will collectively tend to and utilize.

Traditional Maya Medicine Apprenticeship Program
In collaboration with the Belize Indigenous Training Institute, young apprentices are being matched with master Maya healers to begin their education in traditional Maya medicine, with training in medicinal plants, traditional diagnostics and treatments.
