Language Revitalization

Toledo Indigenous Language Education
We offer free courses in Belize's indigenous languages, as funding allows.  The courses, which are free and open to everyone in the community, are held at the University of Belize campus in Punta Gorda.  Currently Q'eqchi' Mayan, Mopan Mayan, and Garifuna classes are being offered.  Interested in private lessons?  We can link you with language instructors who can be hired for one-on-one and group instruction.
